Hole #1
Yardage/Handicap
- 321/13
- 318/13
- 406/13
- 308/11
Hole Description
One of the best opening holes in golf, this hole epitomizes Donald Ross' belief that an opening hole should enable the player to get a feel for his swing without undue stress. The longer players can drive this green, but the smart tee shot is to the plateau left of center in the fairway.
Hole #2
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
If you feel confident, carry the mound left of the fairway off the tee, leaving a short approach. Otherwise, hit to the 150-yard marker just right of the mound in the center of the fairway. Avoid the right side. Bunkers surround the two-tiered, elevated green. It is critical to be on the same level as the pin.
Hole #3
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
The ideal tee shot is just past the 150-yard marker. From this flat area, you will have a straightforward approach to an elevated green. Play for the center of the green regardless of the pin position. This diabolical green is loaded with small mounds making it the toughest on the course to read.
Hole #4
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
This hole demands a very accurate tee shot with out-of-bounds right and severe rough and bunkers left. The green is fairly level, so fairway and approach shots left short sometimes roll up onto the green. Otherwise, an easy chip shot into a gently sloping putting surface remains. Avoid a big score on this hole.
Hole #5
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
Tee shots need not be long but must stay in the fairway with trouble left and right. Second shots should favor the right side and clear the hillcrest. They will end up on the left side at the bottom of the hill, leaving an easy approach to the elevated green. The green slopes hard from back to front.
Hole #6
Yardage/Handicap
- 160/17
- 149/17
- 133/17
- 131/17
Hole Description
One of the most picturesque and demanding holes on the course despite its short length. The prevailing wind is usually in your face, adding an extra club to your tee shot. The green, with its small mounds and valleys, is another test of your "reading" skills.
Hole #7
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
An uphill, dogleg right, this tee shot is the most difficult on the course.
Hole #8
Yardage/Handicap
- 225/15
- 164/15
- 159/15
- 148/15
Hole Description
This difficult green sits just over the top of a hill. Deep bunkers left and a sharp slope right surround the putting surface. Par can be made from the small fairway short of the green. In the 1919 U.S. Open, a competitor shot an eighteen on this hole, a record for a par 3 that still stands.
Hole #9
Yardage/Handicap
- 305/11
- 289/11
- 250/11
- 241/11
Hole Description
Although the longer hitters can drive this hole, don't be fooled by its length. Your tee shot can be played to the top of the hill, leaving just under 150 yards to the green, or hit to the bottom of the valley to wedge distance. The hill and high grass will grab any approach shots left short.
Hole #10
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
This par 5 can be reached with two perfect shots by long hitters. Avoid the deep bunkers left of the landing area off the tee. Can't reach the green in two? Then lay-up 100 yards from the green where the fairway is level. Deep bunkers and high grass surround this two-tiered green.
Hole #11
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
Out-of-bounds to the left puts a premium on your tee shot. Ridges in the landing area can leave an uneven lie in the fairway, making second shots even tougher. On your approach shot, avoid going right of the green where deep bunkers lurk; short is a good place to miss.
Hole #12
Yardage/Handicap
- 163/18
- 151/18
- 117/18
- 117/18
Hole Description
Billy Casper remarked that the 12th hole was his favorite hole on this golf course. Deep, white-faced bunkers surround this par 3. The elevated green slopes from back to front with a valley in the middle. Try to keep your tee shot below the hole.
Hole #13
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
The 13th is a reachable par 5 if your tee shot stays in the fairway. Out-of-bounds runs down the entire left side. Thick rough and a narrow stream run down the right side past the landing area. Lay-up 80 to 100 yards short of the green, taking the bunkers out of play.
Hole #14
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
A three-shot par 5, the 14th hole narrows as you get closer to the green. With plenty of room off the tee, the second shot must be more precise. Large bunkers with high mounds and tall grass guard the left side of the fairway; a diabolical bunker protects the green to the front and right.
Hole #15
Yardage/Handicap
- 310/14
- 295/14
- 285/14
- 277/14
Hole Description
The key to this hole is your tee shot. Since the hole is very short for a par 4, a driver is not necessary. Be careful of the fairway bunkers running down the left side and trees on the right. Avoid the deep bunkers and high grass surrounding this green.
Hole #16
Yardage/Handicap
- 405/12
- 351/12
- 340/12
- 336/8
Hole Description
When standing on the tee, do not confuse the eighth green as your intended line. The sixteenth green is hidden from view for it sits beyond the top of the hill on this slight dogleg to the right. Your tee shot should be aimed toward the right side of the fairway to avoid the sharp leftward slope, which will rob you of distance.
Hole #17
Yardage/Handicap
- 255/16
- 226/16
- 216/16
- 212/16
Hole Description
Coming down the stretch, the 17th is one of the toughest par 3s to be found anywhere. This extremely long hole features a green that is divided by a trench. You are better off short of the green then right or left. This green is another stern test of your putting ability.
Hole #18
Yardage/Handicap
- 440/10
- 352/10
- 333/10
- 316/12
Hole Description
The tee shot comes through a tight chute to a generous fairway with out-of-bounds right. Deep bunkers, tall grass and a collection area guard this green. At all costs, keep your approach shot below the hole. Many good rounds are spoiled when downhill putts run right off the front of this green!

Hole #1
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
A straight away, short par 4 welcomes you to this fair but challenging nine hole golf course. A good tee shot will be rewarded with a mid to short iron shot into the green. An approach that sails long on the 1st green will bring a high score into play.
Hole #2
Yardage/Handicap
- 147/15/16
- 135/13/14
- 86/13/14
Hole Description
This uphill Par 3 requires more club than it's yardage suggests. Once on the putting surface, you face the challenge of a severely sloped, two-tiered green.
Hole #3
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
This dogleg right Par 5 will give the long-hitter a chance at the green with their second shot. Higher scores lurk, however, with out-of-bounds down the entire right side.
Hole #4
Yardage/Handicap
- 163/13/14
- 148/11/12
- 113/11/12
Hole Description
A mid-length Par 3, 165 yards at its longest, requires an accurate tee shot to avoid bunkers both left and short right of the green. The hillside long and left of the green often helps the golfers by filtering balls back down to the putting surface.
Hole #5
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
This long, downhill Par 4/5 is one of the most challenging holes on the course. Guarded by out-of-bounds on the right and woods on the left, a sloped lie is all but guaranteed for your second shot.
Hole #6
Yardage/Handicap
- 155/17/18
- 123/17/18
- 90/17/18
Hole Description
This par 3 offers a great chance at birdie, but a mis-guided tee shot could leave you in a bunker.
Hole #7
Yardage/Handicap
Hole Description
If you feel confident, carry the mound left of the fairway off the tee, leaving a short approach. Otherwise, hit to the 150-yard marker just right of the mound in the center of the fairway. Avoid the right side. Bunkers surround the two-tiered, elevated green. It is critical to be on the same level as the pin.
Hole #8
Yardage/Handicap
- 298/7/8
- 288/9/10
- 215/9/10
Hole Description
Sloping right to left for the balance of the hole, this short Par 4 requires a very accurate second shot. Given a choice between a short or long approach the golfer should always take the short option as trees line the backside of the green.
Hole #9
Yardage/Handicap
- 152/11/12
- 139/15/16
- 139/15/16
Hole Description
This picturesque Par 3 provides a stunning view of the clubhouse from the tee box. Sloping severely downhill from tee to green, one should always check the flag on the clubhouse roof for a hint on wind direction.
